Detroit techno in un caveau berlinese.
Tresor apre nel marzo 1991 in un caveau abbandonato della Wertheim Bank, sotto Leipziger Platz. Berlino Est, sei mesi dopo la caduta del Muro. Detroit techno entra in città dalla porta laterale: Underground Resistance, Jeff Mills, Carl Craig prendono residenza in un seminterrato che fino a quel momento custodiva oro.
Quattro indirizzi in 35 anni. Leipziger Platz fino al 2005, poi Mitte chiuso per gentrification, riapertura sulla Köpenicker Straße in un'ex centrale del riscaldamento. Tre stanze: Hauptraum (techno hard), Globus (house e variazioni), Krake (esperimenti, ambient, B2B residency).
Her records since "Mire EP" (Feb 2026) lean further into the dub-techno lineage — sparse rhythm sections, long sustained chords, a patience that resists current peak-time conventions. Programming, she plays three or four hours when permitted, with a residency at Circoloco and recent headlining slots at Berghain Klubnacht, Spring Attitude and Fabric.
Niente bottle service, niente VIP area, niente foto. Solo musica e dancefloor. Niente compromessi sulla programming: techno hard, dub stretto, e nessun lavoro di pulizia con DJ generalisti.
